- Identity and access management platform for AI agents and workloads
- Made for
- Security, identity, platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams
- Runs on
- Aembit Cloud and deployed Aembit Edge components
What it does
Aembit is an identity and access management platform that controls how AI agents and other non-human workloads reach enterprise resources. Teams define access policies; Aembit verifies an agent or workload identity, evaluates each request against policy and runtime context, and obtains or issues short-lived, scoped credentials when access is approved. For agents acting for employees, blended identity combines user and agent context, while audit logs attribute access to the relevant identity.
The platform can authorize MCP-client access to MCP servers and enterprise resources, filter individual tools, apply conditional rules using signals such as security posture, geography, and time, and revoke an agent’s access. It also supports workload identity and credential access for services and CI/CD. Aembit is aimed at security, identity, platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams. Getting started involves creating a tenant, deploying required edge components or the MCP gateway for the selected use case, then defining policies. Documentation describes cloud-managed configuration alongside deployed edge components; this is not a standalone agent app.
What it can do
- Verify agent and workload identities and enforce per-request access policies
- Issue or broker short-lived, scoped credentials at runtime
- Combine user and agent context using blended identity
- Authorize MCP client access and filter MCP tools
- Apply conditional access using runtime context such as security posture, geography, or time
- Audit access events and revoke agent access
Works with
- MCP
- Kubernetes
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab
- AWS Lambda
Before you choose
- Aembit is an access control platform, not an AI agent or model; deployment and policy configuration are part of setup.
- Starter limits differ by use case: 3 AI agents or 10 workloads, with separate policy limits and 24-hour event-log retention.
- Teams pricing is per agent or per workload per month, not per user seat; the listed plans start with 10 agents or workloads.
