What it does
Aimi Session is an AI-assisted music production studio that runs in a browser. A creator describes a sound or gives arrangement directions in natural language; Aimi builds or edits a multi-track session with tracks, stems, effects and arrangement. Users can then adjust the project by chatting with the AI or working directly with the controls. The session remains editable rather than being delivered only as a finished audio file.
The studio supports generating or separating stems, writing lyrics, arranging and mixing, as well as MIDI composition and built-in virtual instruments. Users can upload their own audio, export audio, and publish sessions to the community for others to hear and remix. It is aimed at people making music, from prompt-led creators to users who want direct control over a project. Access is through a browser, with projects stored in the cloud; no installation is required.
Recording, editing, uploading and exporting are free; AI actions and replies cost 10 credits per turn. Credits do not expire, and additional packs start at $6. Signup credits are a one-time grant, not recurring AI access. Aimi says private work is excluded from model training; publishing can make sessions available for remixing and learning, with a training opt-out in settings. Projects containing uploaded audio can publish a mix rather than an editable remix session.

Before you choose
- AI turns consume 10 credits each; signup grants are one-time and credits do not expire. The page describes 1,000 credits for signups after 1 November 2026.
- Publishing changes access to your work. Aimi describes a training opt-out in settings; review publishing, uploaded-audio and sample-library terms before sharing.
- The loop library remains Aimi's property and may not be resold as raw samples. The page also notes that generated output may not be unique and copyright protection for purely AI-made material varies by country.
