What it does
Anything is an AI agent that builds web apps and mobile apps from a conversation: you describe what you want, and it generates the app. Inputs are natural-language prompts, and outputs are generated app code and files that can be published. The official CLI exposes the same agent from a terminal, so you can create apps, send follow-up prompts, read agent messages and logs, and publish or unpublish without using the browser.
People use the browser builder for iterative prompting, or the CLI for scripting and for AI coding agents that need structured JSON output. The CLI's ship command creates an app, runs the agent, and publishes in one step, while projects commands handle iteration. The docs note that a ship run can finish without a built app if the agent asked a question or only planned, so users should check the agent's messages before treating an app as live.
Anything suits people who want to prototype or ship simple web or mobile apps from prompts, and developers who want to drive that workflow from scripts or CI. Access requires an account; the CLI is described as rolling out to select accounts, with access requested by email. Paid plans are credit-based, and mobile App Store and Play Store submission is listed as a plan feature. Limitations include unclear CLI availability and the need to verify agent output before publishing.
What it can do
- Create web and mobile apps from natural-language prompts
- Send follow-up prompts to iterate on an existing app
- Publish apps to production and unpublish them
- Read agent messages and development logs, with level filtering and tailing
- Manage files, rename, duplicate, delete (30-day restore), and restore apps
- Submit mobile apps to the App Store or Google Play via CLI
Before you choose
- The CLI is rolling out to select accounts; request access by email if you do not have it yet.
- A ship or publish run can succeed while the agent only asked a question or made a plan; confirm the last assistant turn before publishing.
- Pricing is credit-based; confirm the monthly versus yearly billed amount on the pricing page before committing.
