Brevo MCP Server

What it does

Brevo MCP Server lets an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code work with a Brevo account through the Model Context Protocol. Users type natural-language requests, such as asking how many contacts they have, reviewing campaign results, looking up contacts and segments, or creating draft emails and SMS messages. The main server covers email campaigns, analytics, contacts, segments, templates, CRM deals and transactional email, and the server can be configured with a token generated in Brevo.

People use it to explore campaign and contact data, prepare templates and drafts, and manage CRM records from their assistant. Brevo states the plugin and connector never send, schedule or delete anything, and drafts are saved for review. The official ChatGPT plugin or Claude connector needs no API key, while the MCP server route uses a token from Account > SMTP & API > API Keys. Individual servers can be used for a narrower set of tools.

It suits marketers and small teams already using Brevo who want assistant-driven analysis and drafting. Access requires a Brevo account; the pricing page lists MCP for ChatGPT & Claude as a Starter feature and describes the plugin as available on all Brevo plans. Limitations include the need for admin approval in some workspaces and Node.js for the Claude Desktop configuration. The assistant does not send or schedule campaigns, so final actions remain in Brevo.

Get started

Create a Brevo account, then install the plugin or add the MCP server with a token.

1. Sign up for a Brevo account, or sign in to the account you want to connect.
2. For the plugin route, open Plugins in ChatGPT or the Claude connector, install Brevo and authorize with Brevo sign-in; no key is needed.
3. For the MCP server route, go to Account > SMTP & API > API Keys, generate a key with the MCP option enabled, and paste the config from the setup guide.

Brevo lists a free plan ('Free forever, no credit card needed') and paid Starter, Standard and Professional tiers, plus an Enterprise tier sold through sales. Plans can be billed monthly or yearly (yearly shown at 10% off). Starter and higher plan prices are shown on the pricing page; MCP is included as a Starter feature with no separate MCP charge listed.
