What it does

BrowserOS neo is a separate desktop browser that external AI agents control through MCP. It can import browser logins, connect to an existing coding agent and let that agent navigate, read and interact with websites in its own tabs. A dashboard shows concurrent activity, and saved session replays make it possible to inspect what happened.

The browser runs locally on macOS, Windows and Linux, with session history and recordings stored on the user’s machine. It is free open-source software; the connected AI agent or model service has its own terms and costs. Neo can coexist with the original BrowserOS, which includes its own assistant experience. Agents currently share the browser’s signed-in sessions, so separate tabs should not be mistaken for isolated account profiles. Review consequential actions using the controls provided by the connected agent.
