Clarifai Platform

What it does

Clarifai Platform is a web workspace and API for building, testing, and deploying AI models, workflows, and app components. Users manage data, annotate inputs, and build custom models through a drag-and-drop, low-code or no-code interface. Anything available in the web platform can also be done through the API.

People use the platform to find and reuse Community models, datasets, workflows, and UI components, test predictions on their own data, organize resources with stars and Markdown notes, and copy ready-made code from the Use Model / Workflow dialog. Developers can run inference through the API, Python and Node.js SDKs, the Clarifai CLI, or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including on dedicated GPUs or in their own infrastructure.

The platform suits developers, data teams, and less technical builders who want to prototype or deploy computer vision and AI apps without building the full pipeline from scratch. Using the SDKs requires a Clarifai account and a Personal Access Token set as the CLARIFAI_PAT environment variable.

Example workflows

First inference call

Input: a Clarifai account and a model URL from Community. Steps: create a PAT in Settings > Secrets, set CLARIFAI_PAT, install the Python or Node.js SDK, and send a prediction request. Output: model predictions returned by the API.

Reuse a Community model in an app

Input: a search for a task such as face detection. Steps: search Community resources, star useful ones, open Use Model / Workflow, and copy the code snippet into a development environment. Output: working API call code for the chosen model or workflow.

Get started

Create an account, copy a model URL, generate a Personal Access Token, and install an SDK.

2. Generate a Personal Access Token under Settings > Secrets and set it as CLARIFAI_PAT
