What it does

Twilio Conversation Intelligence takes in live and recorded voice calls plus messaging conversations such as SMS, RCS, WhatsApp and web chat, and turns them into structured signals. It produces real-time transcription, generative summaries, entity extraction, sentiment and intent signals, and call scoring defined with natural-language prompts called Language Operators.

Teams use it to surface next-best-action suggestions to human agents mid-conversation, flag tone shifts that may signal escalation risk, and send structured insights to CRMs, contact center tools and business intelligence systems through APIs and webhooks. It analyzes conversations with both human and virtual agents in a single layer and can feed results into a persistent customer memory.

It is aimed at contact center, sales and customer support teams building on Twilio's programmable communications platform. Access runs through the Twilio Console and APIs, and the product page offers a Start for free option. Confirm channel coverage, language support and connector details for your own setup before relying on it.
