DeepSource
AI code review and static analysis for pull requests

- Tool type
- AI code review platform
- Made for
- Engineering and security teams
- Runs on
- Web dashboard, pull requests, and terminal
- Runs against repositories in connected version control; CLI runs in the developer's terminal.
What it does
DeepSource connects to repositories on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps and reviews pull requests with a mix of 5,000+ deterministic rules and an AI review agent. It posts inline comments on bugs, security vulnerabilities, and anti-patterns, adds a PR report card, and can block merges through quality and security gates.
Beyond pull requests, it covers secrets detection, open-source dependency vulnerability scanning, code coverage tracking, infrastructure-as-code review, and license compliance. Autofix generates patches that you inspect as a diff before accepting. AI coding agents can also call the DeepSource CLI to pull issues, metrics, run status, and vulnerabilities for the current branch.
It suits engineering teams that want automated review on every pull request. A 14-day free trial needs no credit card, and an Open Source plan covers public repositories. Team pricing is per user with pay-as-you-go AI Review, while Enterprise adds self-hosted deployment, SSO, and bring-your-own-key options at custom pricing.
