What it does
Doximity Scribe is an AI documentation tool that listens to patient visits and generates clinical notes. Clinicians choose a note type, start the visit, and Scribe captures the conversation and identifies key clinical details. It can also take on-the-go dictation and pre-charting from a phone or desktop. The output is an AI-generated note that the clinician reviews, edits, and sends to the patient's chart.
Clinicians can use Scribe during Dialer visits, for dictation, or to pre-chart before a visit, all within the Doximity app. Templates include SOAP, H&P, consults, progress notes, procedure summaries, and simple dictation, and users can build custom templates. Scribe is positioned to work alongside Dialer, Dialer Video, and Doximity Ask so notes, calls, and clinical insights stay in one place.
Scribe is aimed at U.S. physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students with a verified Doximity account, and Doximity states it is free for these users. Access requires signing in to Doximity. Clinicians should review every generated note before filing it, and prospective users should confirm current terms directly with Doximity.
