What it does
Firefly Foundry takes a company's own intellectual property, such as brand assets, characters, environments and visual styles, and uses it to deep-tune a proprietary Adobe Firefly model. The tuned model then generates on-brand content across image, video, audio, vector and 3D formats. Adobe describes the models as IP-protected and commercially safe.
Teams work with Adobe to identify use cases and define a bespoke model, then manage development, deployment and access from a centralised dashboard. The finished models are made available inside GenStudio, Creative Cloud, the Firefly app and Express, so designers and marketers can generate content from within tools they already use. Adobe also says it will help develop and refine creative workflows, and mentions a partnership with NVIDIA AI Enterprise to support the models.
It suits large organisations, such as brands and franchise owners, that need consistent, production-ready media at scale. Access starts with a request for information rather than self-serve sign-up, and no pricing is published. Smaller businesses are pointed to a separate beta offering, Firefly custom models. Details on training requirements, timelines and cost are not given, so expect to discuss them with Adobe.
