Glass Developer API
Add cited clinical responses and scribing to healthcare applications
- Tool type
- Clinical AI and scribing API
- Made for
- Healthcare application developers
- Runs on
- Authenticated HTTP API
What it does
The Glass Developer API exposes clinical AI through authenticated endpoints for messages and scribing. Developers supply clinical context and receive generated responses with references and token-usage information. Applications can use it for clinical questions, documentation or other supervised healthcare workflows.
It is separate from the Glass application subscription and uses its own developer account and API key. Pricing has a monthly minimum credited toward usage, with token charges beyond that amount and an audio-transcription meter for scribing. Teams should validate clinical outputs and agree any required data-processing or healthcare terms before sending protected information.
What it can do
- Cited clinical responses
- Context-aware messages
- Clinical note generation
- Audio transcription
- Token usage reporting
- API integration
Before you choose
- The $250 monthly minimum is credited against usage, not added on top of it.
- Audio transcription and generated clinical notes use different meters.
- Clinical output needs application-level validation and appropriate professional oversight.
