Greptile
AI code review agent that indexes a repository and reviews pull requests.
- Tool type
- AI pull request review agent
- Made for
- Developers and engineering teams
- Runs on
- Connected Git providers; cloud or self-hosted
What it does
Greptile takes in a code repository connected through a supported code provider and produces review comments on pull requests. It builds a graph of the repo's files, functions and dependencies, then posts findings, with suggested fixes as PR comments.
People use it as a review layer on every pull request. Each comment can be sent to a coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Devin using a Fix with your Agent button, and a Fix All button sends the whole summary. Its distinct feature is learning from team reactions and replies, so it reduces noise over time, and it supports custom rules written in plain English.
Greptile suits engineering teams whose repositories span several files. Starter is free for one developer with 50 credits per month. Pro uses per-credit billing at $1 per credit with no seat fees and a 14-day trial. Enterprise uses custom pricing and self-hosting. Limitations include that Starter's credit allowance is limited, and some code providers are available only on Enterprise plans.
