Context window edits any area up to 2K
“Introducing context window for precise edit in Ideogram. No seams, no artifacts, no Photoshop! Edit any area up to 2K inside very high-resolution images. Everything outside the context window stays untouched. Try it now in the app and the API:”

What it does
Ideogram takes a text prompt or reference media (your own pictures, an existing image, or video frames) and produces images or short videos with sound. You choose an Ideogram model or a partner model, then refine the output with tools for editing parts of an image, extending it, adding text, removing backgrounds, upscaling and creating transparent PNGs.
People use it to make first-draft visuals, logos, cutouts and ads, then adjust them in Studio, which works in layers. Distinct features include prompting for wording, layout and colors (by plain description or JSON), a Describe tool that turns an image into a reusable prompt, Batch generation of up to 500 prompts from one spreadsheet, and custom models trained on a brand, product or style. Task apps give form-based jobs such as removing an object or resizing an ad.
It suits designers, marketers, teams and developers who want one place for image and video generation plus editing. You sign in on the web, use the iOS app, or call the API with keys and workspace billing. Free accounts get weekly credits only via Google, Apple or Microsoft sign-in, and everything generated on the free plan is public. Video and premium apps need a paid plan or purchased credits, and credit cost varies by model, quality and size.
