What it does
Inkeep is a platform for building AI assistants and agent workflows for customer-experience teams. Agents can answer questions from company knowledge, gather customer context, suggest support responses and propose documentation updates. A visual builder and TypeScript SDK stay synchronized so technical and nontechnical teams can work on the same agents.
The source-available framework can run on a team’s own infrastructure; the managed enterprise offering adds services such as knowledge retrieval, hosting and support-platform connections. The framework uses Elastic License 2.0 with supplemental terms, rather than an unrestricted open-source license. Model and hosting costs remain relevant when self-hosting.

Before you choose
- Elastic License 2.0 and supplemental terms restrict some uses; review them before deployment.
- Managed search and enterprise integrations differ from the self-hosted framework.
