What it does

LLMWhisperer is a document OCR and parsing API designed to prepare inputs for language models. It converts PDFs, scans, images and other files into text while preserving meaningful structure such as columns, tables, checkboxes and reading order. Processing modes cover native text, clean scans and harder material such as handwriting or photographed forms.

Developers can test documents in a playground and send files through the API, then use the returned text in their own extraction or retrieval pipeline. Standalone pricing is per successfully processed page, with a recurring daily free allowance; Document Studio customers receive LLMWhisperer within that product’s plan. Choose the lowest-cost mode that performs adequately on representative files and inspect the output. A successful response is billable even when the OCR still needs correction.
