Maven Smart System

What it does

Maven Smart System (MSS) is Palantir's AI-enabled platform for Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control. It connects command and control systems and the data behind them, bringing information from many sources into one environment and a common operating picture. The NATO version is described as supporting any AI model, with Mistral AI and Meta Platforms models named as examples and more planned.

Defense organizations use it to unify siloed data and support decision-making across Services and commands. The NATO Joint Warfare Centre reports testing it during exercise STEADFAST DETERRENCE 2026, where it automated scripting and opposition-force responses. It is distinct for being accredited to run on NATO's classified network and for working across several AI models rather than a single one.

It suits government defense organizations with institutional procurement and security requirements. Access is arranged through Palantir and the customer’s managed environment, rather than a public app account. NATO reports that its implementation received accreditation for its classified network in 2026; that does not establish accreditation for every customer deployment. Confirm model, integration and hosting requirements for the intended organization.
