What it does

any-guardrail standardizes access to guardrail models used for prompt-injection detection, content moderation and model-based judging. Developers can switch supported guardrails while keeping a common application interface, making comparisons and integration less dependent on each model’s packaging.

It is useful for selecting and evaluating controls around AI applications. Teams choose models and thresholds, test them on representative inputs and connect the checks to their own decision logic. Detection can miss attacks or reject benign content, so the library should support a broader evaluation and control process.
