What it does
cq is a shared knowledge store that agents query before taking action. It lets information learned by one agent become available to others, helping teams preserve operational context and avoid repeating previously understood mistakes.
Teams can use the hosted exchange or self-host the stack, with CLI, SDK and plugin integration paths. Knowledge begins in a private namespace and is shared after approval, and records can be exported as JSON. The stored advice should be reviewed for relevance and trustworthiness rather than treated as an instruction that overrides the agent’s task.
What it can do
- Agent knowledge queries
- Private namespaces
- Approved knowledge sharing
- JSON export
- Self-hosting
Before you choose
- Knowledge can become stale or unsuitable for a different environment.
- Hosted service terms are separate from the open-source code license.
