ONTAP MCP Server

What it does

ONTAP MCP Server gives AI agents a documented interface for administering ONTAP clusters. It exposes discovery, storage, data-protection and network operations so an agent can inspect an environment and carry out permitted management tasks.

The service runs as a self-hosted HTTP endpoint distributed through a container and Helm chart. It supports several ONTAP-based deployments and offers a read-only mode. Configure storage credentials, network exposure and approval controls before enabling tools that change infrastructure.
