What it does
Pickaxe takes a prompt describing what an agent should do, plus optional knowledge such as documents, websites, videos, special instructions, and API endpoints, and produces chatbot or form-style AI agents that can be tested while being built. Agents can connect to third-party tools through Actions, including Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Google Sheets, and Zapier or Make webhooks.
Builders package agents into Studios, standalone AI web apps with bundled tools, custom pages, user management, and Stripe-backed payments. Agents can be deployed by direct link, web embed, API, email, Slack, or WhatsApp, with Slack and WhatsApp availability depending on plan. The main distinction is that agent building, monetization, access control, and usage tracking sit in one place.
Pickaxe is aimed at solopreneurs, consultants, coaches, creators, and teams who want to sell AI tools without writing code. Each interaction consumes credits, and end users of a Studio draw from the creator's credits. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance, and Business requires a six-month minimum commitment with a custom credit package.
