What it does
Podwise takes in podcast episodes from sources such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, RSS feeds, private feeds, and audio uploads. It produces AI summaries, full transcripts, mind maps, insights, and translations of episodes in up to 12 languages. Users can also ask questions of an episode and search across their whole library for a quote or topic.
People use Podwise to review long episodes before deciding whether to listen, study lectures, or pull quotes for research. Results can be exported to Notion, Readwise, Obsidian, Logseq, or downloaded as Markdown, XMind, or PDF. A distinct feature is access for developers and AI assistants: a CLI, a hosted MCP endpoint for Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, and installable skills.
Podwise suits listeners, students, researchers, founders, and creators who learn from podcasts. A free account gives basic access, and a 7-day free trial applies to Standard and Pro subscriptions. Mobile apps are available on iOS and Android, with a browser version. Enterprise processing of private imports and uploaded audio is usage-based, and monthly AI processing credits limit Standard and Pro.
