- Runs on
- Web app and API
- Used in the browser at app.rask.ai and via the Rask API and Python SDK for automated workflows.
What it does
Rask AI takes a source video, uploaded as a file or provided as a URL, and produces a dubbed version in another language. It transcribes the speech, translates it, and generates new audio that can keep each speaker's voice through voice cloning. Users can edit the transcript and translation line by line, adjust timing, speed and voice settings, and re-dub only the segments they changed. Subtitles can be burned into the video or exported as a file, and on-screen text such as slides and captions can also be translated.
People use Rask to localize courses, training videos, podcasts and creator channels without re-recording the speaker. Its editing controls set it apart: a terminology dictionary keeps brand terms consistent across videos, multi-speaker lip-sync adjusts mouth movements to the new audio, and a Python SDK and API handle upload, transcription, dubbing, glossaries and re-dubs for automated pipelines.
Rask suits educators, creators, marketing and training teams that localize recurring video. It is accessed through the web app at app.rask.ai, and a free plan includes 3 minutes of video to test quality. Paid plans run on a monthly minute allowance, and enterprise features such as SSO and custom integrations are arranged through sales.
