What it does
SaneBox takes the email already arriving in your account and produces a sorted inbox. Its machine learning sorts incoming messages into folders by importance, filters out unimportant emails, and reminds you when a reply is overdue. According to the site, it reads basics such as sender, subject line, and date, and does not store full emails or attachments.
You might use SaneBox to cut down time spent triaging a busy inbox. Its BlackHole feature removes unwanted senders from the inbox, a Daily Digest summarizes unopened unimportant emails, Snooze holds messages until a chosen time, and follow-up reminders alert you when a message goes unanswered. One-click unsubscribe from unwanted senders is also offered.
SaneBox suits people and organizations that receive heavy email volume and want less inbox clutter. It works with Gmail, Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, Yahoo! Mail, Fastmail, and any IMAP, Exchange, or ActiveSync server. A 7-day free trial is offered, and educational, nonprofit, and government users can get a 25% discount on any plan. Paid plans are needed to continue after the trial.
