What it does
SEON is a fraud prevention and anti-money-laundering platform for businesses in areas including fintech, payments, financial services, marketplaces, retail and gaming. It analyzes transaction and customer information alongside first-party signals such as IP, device, email and phone data, then returns risk scores, rule results and decision states. Teams can use those outputs for onboarding checks, payment screening, transaction monitoring and investigations.
Within the platform, AI features summarize alerts and transactions, explain signals contributing to a risk score, identify potentially connected accounts, help screen AML matches, and draft rules, charts and regulatory report content. The case-management workflow can auto-assign alerts and maintain an audit trail. Analysts can also connect SEON’s MCP server to supported AI tools to query permitted live data and, with preview, label transactions, update states, add notes or trigger configured automations.
Use requires a SEON account; MCP access is disabled by default and must be enabled by an account administrator. Access through MCP follows the authorizing user’s SEON permissions. AI-generated reports require human review, editing and approval, and the organization remains responsible for submissions. Public pricing lists Starter at $699 per month with 2,500 fraud checks monthly and 10 users; Premium pricing is custom. A free trial is available on request.
