What it does
StackAI is an enterprise platform for turning business processes into AI-powered automation. Teams describe the task, connect company documents and business systems, and build agents or step-by-step workflows that read from and act in those systems. People can be placed at decision points for review, and applications can be given a chat, form or other interface for end users.
Builders choose among supported models from multiple providers, test and compare answer quality, investigate failed runs, and move changes through releases and environments. The output is a deployed agent or workflow that can also be reached through an API, a Slack bot or a connected AI assistant over MCP. It is aimed at IT and operations teams in organizations that need governance, with cloud, VPC and on-premise deployment.
A free plan allows one seat, two projects and 500 runs a month; larger use is priced by custom quote. StackAI was acquired by Asana in 2026 and states that it continues to operate as its own product and brand.
