AI app builder for internal business apps, governed by IT
Linked from superblocks.com · checked 29 Oct
- Tool type
- AI coding platform for governed internal apps
- Made for
- Business teams with IT and security oversight
- Runs on
- Superblocks Cloud, hybrid, or customer VPC
- Deploy in Superblocks Cloud, Hybrid (production data in customer VPC), or Cloud-Prem within AWS, GCP, or Azure.
What it does
Superblocks turns natural-language prompts and imported prototypes from Claude, Lovable, and Replit into internal business applications built on an organization's own data. Clark, its AI coding agent, works within each user's existing permissions, drawing on data schemas, API documentation, and integration configurations. Generated code is owned by the customer and can be connected to a git repository.
Teams use it to replace spreadsheet processes, productionize prototypes, deliver customer portals, and build scheduled automations connected to LLMs. The governance layer is central: IT manages integrations, secrets, RBAC, audit logs, and pre-publish security scans, so AI-built apps do not access business systems directly. Deployment options are Superblocks Cloud, Hybrid, or Cloud-Prem within AWS, GCP, or Azure.
It suits operations teams, analysts, and business users who need internal tools, and IT groups that must govern them, including in regulated settings; the vendor states SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance. Access is through the web, with a 14-day free trial on the Teams plan and custom Enterprise pricing. VPC deployment, SSO/SAML, and Security Center are listed under Enterprise, and the Teams plan has app and Builder limits.
