What it does
Taskade Genesis takes a plain-English description of a business need, such as a CRM, client portal, or dashboard, and produces a hosted app. The app is backed by projects and databases for data, AI agents with persistent memory, and automations with retry and branching logic. Users can also clone ready-made apps from the community gallery and change them.
People use it to build internal trackers, client-facing portals with sign-in, and dashboards that update in real time, then connect agents and automations to the same workspace data. What the pages emphasize as distinct is that the app, its data, its agents, and its workflows live together in one workspace rather than as separate tools. Apps can also be exported to GitHub on Pro and above, and published with a custom domain.
Taskade suits founders, operators and small teams building business apps around shared workspace data. A free plan includes limited apps, agents and automation runs, but begins with no AI credits; credits must be earned or purchased. Paid plans add recurring credits and higher limits. Developers can connect through the REST, Action and MCP interfaces, subject to the relevant plan and authentication requirements. Review generated permissions and behavior before sharing an app with clients.

- Support agent answering from files
- Illustrative example. Input: a set of help files or URLs uploaded to an agent. Steps: create a custom agent, train it on the files, publish or embed it on a site. Output: a public chat assistant that answers from the trained content.
