What it does

Tessl takes in agent skills, which are written standards such as review policies or coding conventions, along with the code repositories and tasks they apply to. It returns a searchable registry of skills, security scans and scores before installation, evals that compare results before and after changes, and automated loops such as code review, documentation upkeep, and test-and-fix work.

Teams use Tessl to find existing skills before writing duplicates, see which skills agents actually activate, and run before-and-after evaluations when a skill changes. The platform is agent-agnostic, so the model can be switched by configuration and results can be measured against your own tasks.

Development teams standardizing how coding agents work, and larger organizations that need governance, are the intended users. The Free plan includes 1,000 credits a month on a single workspace with no card required. Publishing and installing skills is free, while reviews, evals and agent runs consume credits. Enterprise features such as SAML SSO are included on Enterprise plans, while audit logs and org-wide policy gating are described as rolling out.

What it can do

  • Searchable registry of org and private skills
  • Security scanning and scoring of skills before installation
  • Before-and-after evals on skill and model changes
  • Automated code review loop using a team-written standard
  • Documentation maintenance and test-and-fix loops
  • Model and agent harness benchmarking against your own tasks

Works with

  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Gemini
  • Codex
  • Antigravity

Example workflows

Automated code review
Input: a pull request and a team review skill. Steps: the loop applies the skill to each PR and reports findings. Output: review findings the team can evaluate.
Skill regression check
Input: a changed version of an existing skill. Steps: run before-and-after evals on your own scenarios and compare results. Output: a comparison showing whether the change regressed performance before it ships.

Before you choose
