What it does

Testim takes descriptions of the flows a team wants to test, recorded clicks through web, Salesforce, or mobile applications, and optional code, then produces automated UI and functional tests. Its agentic test automation can build tests from natural language descriptions, and its smart locators use AI and machine learning to identify elements and keep tests working when an application changes. Test results include error aggregation, suggestions, comparison screenshots, and log analysis to help locate root causes.

Teams use Testim across test authoring, execution, and test management. Web tests can run in parallel on Testim's cloud or on Selenium-compatible grids, and mobile tests can run on virtual devices in the cloud. Testim integrates into CI/CD pipelines so tests can run on every code check-in, on releases to production, or as scheduled regression suites. A Tricentis SeaLights connection can select tests based on code changes and show which tests map to each change.

Testim suits QA and development teams testing custom web, Salesforce, or mobile applications who want low-code authoring with code available when needed. The authoring service is accessed through a web browser, and the test execution grid is available in a public cloud or a virtual private cloud option for web testing. A free Community plan is available after a trial, with self-service support only. Paid plans are customized through sales, and remote mobile devices and extra parallel capacity require a platform purchase or a sales conversation.

Example workflows

Create a test from a description
Input: a natural-language description of a user flow in a Salesforce or web app. Steps: describe the flow; the agentic automation builds the test; review and run it. Output: an automated test ready for execution.
Run tests on every code check-in
Input: a CI/CD pipeline such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions with Testim integrated. Steps: connect Testim to the pipeline; trigger tests on each check-in. Output: test results reported back in the pipeline.
