- Tool type
- AI flashcard generator for Anki decks
- Made for
- Students studying from large document sets
- Runs on
- Web browser
- Used through an account and deck library; exports open in Anki desktop and mobile.
What it does
AnkiDecks turns uploaded study material into flashcards that export to Anki. Accepted inputs include PDF, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, images, audio, video files and YouTube links, and text, images and diagrams are pulled out and converted into cards.
Every plan generates cards with AI, supports spaced repetition and unlimited quizzes, and offers AI feedback on reviews within monthly limits. Decks export as .apkg files that open in Anki desktop and mobile, and decks stay in the library if a plan is downgraded or cancelled.
The product is aimed at students who work from large volumes of documents, such as medical and law students or anyone running several subjects. A Free plan has monthly limits on deck generations, document size and AI reviews, while Pro and Ultimate raise those limits. AnkiDecks states that it is independent of Anki Software LLC.
