What it does

Arthur is a platform for monitoring AI applications and governing agents. It combines an inventory of agents with traces of reasoning steps, tool calls, retrieval and handoffs. Builders can evaluate behavior and inspect performance, while security and governance teams apply policies, monitor anomalies and retain evidence of how systems operate.

Its runtime controls include guardrails, behavioral monitoring and alerts that can feed existing security tools. Monitoring plans provide a web interface and API, with dedicated infrastructure and enterprise controls available separately. The free tier is a starting point for a small deployment, not proof that every discovery or security capability is included. Map the agents and data sources you need to cover, test the monitoring connection, and agree on the required governance and deployment scope before rollout.
