Blackbox AI
Token-metered model inference and GPU access with end-to-end encryption for enterprises.
Linked from blackbox.ai · checked 29 Oct
- Tool type
- Token-metered model inference and GPU platform
- Made for
- Enterprise teams and developers
- Runs on
- Cloud API, CLI, and dedicated single-tenant deployments
- Core surfaces are the API and CLI; Enterprise can run as a dedicated single-tenant deployment.
What it does
Blackbox AI takes prompts and requests for models from a catalog of more than 300 models behind one endpoint and returns the model's output. Prompts are described as encrypted on the client before they leave the user's machine and decrypted only where the model runs, with zero data retention stated as a gateway-enforced policy. The company also offers GPU rental with access controls, spend limits, and an audit log, plus forward-deployed engineers who tune the engine on a customer's traffic.
Teams use the product through its API, CLI, and an Agents API, with usage metered per token rather than per seat. Billing draws down an annual enterprise commit, and the same balance covers the API, CLI, Router, and Enterprise Inference. Customers can also connect their own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google accounts so usage bills through those providers while routing and failover remain available. Fine-tuning, post-training, and reinforcement learning run by agents against a customer's evaluations are also described.
The product is aimed at enterprise buyers who need dedicated single-tenant deployments, data residency, SSO, and audit logs. Engagements start with a sales conversation to scope a commit rather than a self-serve signup. Per-token list rates are published as a reference point, and contracts are quoted against them. Some enterprise controls and hardware offerings are described only at the Enterprise level.
What it can do
- Routes requests across more than 300 models through one endpoint with one bill
- Encrypts prompts from the client to where the model runs, with zero data retention stated
- Serves per-token inference with input, output, and cached-read rates billed separately
- Rents GPUs with verified sign-in, scoped API keys, spend limits, and a single audit log
- Runs fine-tuning, post-training, and reinforcement learning with agents steered by customer engineers
- Provides smart routing, failover, and prompt caching that extend a commit
Works with
- OpenAI accounts (connect your own provider account)
- Anthropic accounts (connect your own provider account)
- Google accounts (connect your own provider account)
Before you choose
- Usage is metered per token and drawn from a commit; unused commitment expires at the end of the billing period
- Connecting your own provider accounts routes usage through those providers and bills through them
- Enterprise controls such as dedicated deployment and data residency are described only at the Enterprise level

Get started
Engagements begin with a conversation rather than a signup.
- Contact sales to scope the workload, controls, and expected token volume
- Agree an annual enterprise commit with a purchase order
- Sign in via the console and configure scoped API keys, with a forward-deployed engineer on Enterprise
Plans and prices
Prices in USDMetered per 1M tokens for input, output, and cached reads, drawn down from an annual commit; no platform fee and no per-seat charge. Contracts are quoted against the published list rates.
