What it does
Brisk is a Chrome and Edge browser extension for teachers that works on the page or file they have open, including Google Docs, Google Slides, Microsoft Word, YouTube videos, PDFs, and web articles. From that material it can produce lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, slides, differentiated reading levels, student activities, and draft feedback on student writing. Teachers can also chat with Brisk about what is on screen.
A typical use is opening a YouTube video, selecting the Brisk icon, and choosing Create to get quiz questions, slides, and discussion prompts drawn from the video. For student writing, a teacher opens the document, chooses Give Feedback, and reviews the drafted comments before posting them. Brisk Boost offers teacher-guided AI activities for students built from assigned content.
Brisk is aimed at K-12 teachers and school or district leaders. Teachers can install the extension and sign in with Google or Microsoft at no cost, and new sign-ups receive a 14-day Premium trial before moving to the free plan. Advanced district features require paid Premium or Intelligence plans, which are priced by quote. The extension works only in Chrome and Edge, and some school networks need IT to allow-list Brisk domains.
