What it does

Cargo is a go-to-market platform for revenue teams and GTM engineers who want enrichment, scoring, routing and outbound workflows defined as code. Users, or the coding agents they direct, write a TypeScript workspace of connectors, data models, tools, agents and plays in a git repository, and the cargo-ai command-line tool deploys it. Cargo then runs the plays on triggers and schedules, with retries, rate limits and a trace of every run.

Agents can research accounts, enrich and score records and keep the CRM clean, reading shared company context such as ICPs, personas and playbooks. The output is updated CRM and warehouse records, routed leads, outreach and run logs, and eval suites can gate a prompt change before it reaches production. Cargo also exposes an API and MCP server, and it works with coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI and Devin.

It suits GTM engineers and revenue teams comfortable reviewing changes in git; for teams without that capacity, Cargo offers a managed option where its team builds and operates the system. Use is billed in credits, with a no-card free start of 100 credits. It is built for go-to-market work rather than as a general-purpose agent framework.

What it can do

  • Define connectors, data models, tools, agents and plays as TypeScript files and deploy them with the cargo-ai CLI
  • Run plays on triggers and schedules with retries, rate limits and tracing of every run
  • Enrich, score and route records using AI agents and workflows
  • Give agents shared company context such as ICP, personas and playbooks, versioned in git
  • Gate prompt changes with eval suites and review changes as pull requests
  • Control access with roles, SSO, audit logs and version history

Works with

  • Salesforce
  • HubSpot
  • Sales Navigator
  • Amplitude
  • Slack
  • Claude Code
  • Cursor
  • Codex
  • Gemini CLI
  • Devin

Before you choose

  • Cargo is organized around code in a git repository; teams without GTM engineers or coding agents may prefer the managed Build with us option.
  • Usage is metered in credits (enrichment credits, orchestration steps, storage inserts), and workflows pause when credits run out.
  • It is GTM-specific infrastructure, not a general-purpose agent framework.
