What it does

Claap is a conversation intelligence platform for sales reps, sales leaders, revenue operations, and customer success teams. It captures meetings, calls, emails, and in-person conversations, then transcribes and structures their content into qualification fields, deal risks, blockers, next steps, and methodology-based scores. Calls can be recorded from a desktop without a meeting bot or with a visible bot; in-person capture is available through its mobile app.

Teams can use those structured outputs to populate CRM fields, review deal progress, score calls against frameworks such as MEDDIC or BANT, and generate AI summaries and coaching insights. Claap also makes conversation data available to agents through its MCP connector, including use from Claude or ChatGPT. Access starts with a free account or a demo; the product is offered through a web workspace, with desktop recording and mobile capture options. Basic accounts have limits, including 10 videos per user and 300 total transcription minutes; paid tiers raise or remove some limits.

1. Create a workspace or request a demo; free Basic seats can coexist with paid licenses.
2. Connect the meeting/calendar tools and choose a recording method. The Mac recorder requires Pro or above.
3. For CRM automation, use Business or Enterprise and configure the supported CRM fields and review process.

Annual billing is 20% less than monthly billing. The displayed amounts are per license; teams may mix free Basic and paid licenses. Pro and Business trials are opened by the sales team. Basic has 10 videos per user and 300 total minutes; paid tiers have separate recording and AI-credit limits. Enterprise pricing is custom. Pro 500 and Business 1,000 monthly AI credits per license are pooled across the workspace. Mac recording requires Pro+, CRM automation Business+, API Enterprise. The comparison lists 5 Basic licenses in a free workspace and 50 on paid plans, while the FAQ says a free workspace supports 20 members: confirm the actual Basic seat cap.
