- Made for
- Ecommerce, fashion, and product photography teams; developers
- Runs on
- Web app and API
- Use Claid Studio in a browser, or call the API from your own integration.
What it does
Claid AI Studio takes product and fashion photos as input and returns edited images, including background replacement with natural lighting and shadows, on-model apparel shots generated from a garment, upscaled images, and short videos animated from still images. Its web tools cover more than ten operations, and its API exposes 20+ standard image and video operations that can be combined in a single request.
Teams use it to create consistent product shots, place products into editorial or lifestyle scenes, and produce on-model apparel photos without a photoshoot. The product is built specifically around product photography: the vendor states its AI preserves logos, branding, and product shapes, and that brand-approved backgrounds and colors can be applied.
It fits ecommerce and fashion teams and developers automating image pipelines. Web use is through the Claid Studio app, while API use requires an integration and purchased credits. Self-serve API credits are billed per operation, and the default limit is 4 requests per second or 120 per minute. Higher volumes, custom workflows, and SLAs are arranged through sales.
What it can do
- Generate on-model apparel photos from a garment
- Place products into AI backgrounds and editorial or lifestyle scenes
- Edit images using natural language prompts
- Remove or blur backgrounds and generate realistic product shadows
- Upscale images up to 559 MP and enhance light and colors
- Animate still images into short video clips
Example workflows
- Product image background replacement
- Input: a product photo. Steps: upload the photo, apply AI backgrounds (optionally with auto-written prompts), then optionally upscale. Output: a product image placed in a new scene at higher resolution.
- On-model apparel shots
- Input: a garment photo. Steps: run AI fashion to generate an on-model image, then apply identity crop to anonymize faces if needed. Output: an on-model apparel photo with faces cropped out.
Before you choose
- API credits are one-time purchases billed per operation; web subscription credits and API credits are separate and not interchangeable.
- Default API rate limits are 4 RPS / 120 RPM; some generation endpoints have lower limits, and higher limits require an enterprise plan.
- Upscaling cost depends on output size, and resize and crop are free only when combined with other operations.
