What it does

Clipdrop is a collection of single-purpose image tools that run in the browser. The user uploads a picture, or types a prompt for text-to-image, and picks a tool: remove or replace the background, clean up objects, people or text, uncrop to a new format, upscale by 2x or 4x with noise removal, relight, or resize for social media. The output is a downloadable image.

It is used by photographers, real-estate agents, creative agencies and e-commerce sellers who need quick edits without a full photo editor, and a free plan covers the tools within daily limits. Pro lifts those limits, adds a skip-the-queue option and higher-resolution output; free exports from Cleanup are limited to 720px. The company behind Clipdrop was acquired by Jasper in 2024 and the site now directs developers to the Jasper API.

The Clipdrop name continues as a consumer web product. API access for builders is handled through Jasper, where image endpoints require a Jasper Business plan with an API subscription.
