What it does

Craft Agents is an open-source desktop app from Craft Docs for working with AI agents through a session-based interface that resembles an inbox or task manager. Sessions keep their full history, can be flagged and given workflow statuses, and long-running tasks can continue in the background.

Agents connect to external sources such as MCP servers, REST APIs, local filesystems, and a built-in browser. Users can bring their own model through Anthropic, ChatGPT Plus, Google AI Studio, GitHub Copilot, OpenRouter, or local runtimes such as Ollama and LM Studio, with permission modes controlling how much the agent may change.

It suits people who want a non-CLI way to run agents against their own tools and data. It can also run as a headless server with a CLI client, and it is licensed under Apache 2.0.
