Devin Security finds and fixes urgent vulnerabilities, with credits
“We are entering a new dark age of cybersecurity. Devin is here to help. Introducing the new Devin Security: powered by Claude Mythos and frontier cyber models, plus hundreds of millions of dollars of credits to help teams find, prioritize, and fix urgent vulnerabilities.”

What it does
Devin takes plain-language engineering tasks, such as adding SAML SSO, patching vulnerable dependencies, or fixing failing checkout tests, and works through them using a shell, code editor and browser. It explores the relevant repositories, writes the change, tests it, and returns a pull request along with a summary of what it did and the test results.
People start a session, describe the job, and review the result as a pull request, giving feedback along the way. Cloud Devin spins up its own Windows, Mac or Linux virtual machines to build and test in a browser, recording itself clicking through what it built. Sessions can also be organized under Automations, Review and Wiki areas, and you can choose between several models, including Cognition's SWE-2.
It suits engineers and engineering teams who want to hand off well-defined tasks and review the output, from individuals up to enterprises. Usage is metered: paid plans include a daily and weekly refreshing allowance, with extra usage billed at API pricing, so large prompts and big models use quota faster. Cloud agents require a paid plan. Results still need human review before merging.
What it can do
- Plans and implements multi-step engineering tasks across repositories
- Tests changes end to end in a browser on its own Windows, Mac and Linux virtual machines
- Opens pull requests with an analysis of the change and recorded test results
- Runs in the cloud (Devin Cloud) or locally through Devin Desktop
- Lets you choose among models, including Cognition's SWE-2 and third-party frontier models
- Offers shared sessions, admin analytics and SSO on team and enterprise plans
Works with
- Slack
- Microsoft Teams
- Linear
- Jira
- GitHub
- GitLab
- Bitbucket
Example workflows
- Ship an enterprise SSO feature
- Input: a request to add SAML SSO that follows existing auth patterns and keeps email login working. Steps: Devin explores the relevant repositories, implements SSO and organization settings, then tests sign-in and account linking in its browser. Output: a pull request with a summary and test results for review.
- Patch vulnerable dependencies
- Input: a session asking Devin to patch vulnerable dependencies in a repository. Steps: Devin makes the updates, runs checks, and records its work. Output: a pull request you review and merge or send back with feedback.
Before you choose
- Usage is quota-based with daily and weekly refresh; going over means purchasing extra usage at API pricing, and prompt size and model choice affect consumption.
- Devin Desktop is a separate local product from Devin Cloud; cloud agents require Pro or higher.
- Output is delivered as pull requests that still need human review and testing before merging.
