Digits
AI-native general ledger for automated bookkeeping and real-time financials
- Tool type
- AI-native general ledger and accounting software
- Made for
- Business owners, small businesses, and accounting firms
- Runs on
- Web app with iPhone and iPad apps
- Native apps for iPhone and iPad; developer API and MCP server for integrations.
What it does
Digits connects to banks, credit cards, expense accounts, and payroll providers, importing transactions and statements automatically. From those connections it maintains a general ledger that is categorized and reconciled by AI, and it generates profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, live dashboards, invoices, and bill payments.
People use Digits as the system of record for day-to-day bookkeeping. AI categorizes transactions and flags exceptions for review, so owners spend their time reviewing the books instead of entering data, and an existing accountant can be invited to collaborate inside the platform. Distinctive features include the Agentic General Ledger, AI Bill Pay, and Ask Digits, a conversational assistant for questions about financial data.
Digits is aimed at solopreneurs, small and growing businesses, and accounting firms. It runs on the web with native iPhone and iPad apps, and a developer API and MCP server are included. A 30-day free trial is offered and listed plans start at $65 per month. Service is currently limited to U.S.-based entities, and Digits does not file taxes itself.
