Falcon Guardian

What it does

Falcon Guardian is CrowdStrike's AI detection and response product. It takes in AI activity from workforce use of AI tools and from AI agents running on endpoints, linking prompts and agent behavior to endpoint telemetry. Outputs include visibility into shadow AI and agent activity, policy controls over AI usage, runtime detections such as prompt injection, and containment actions for compromised agents.

Security teams use it to find which AI agents are running and who uses them, trace how a user prompt leads to downstream process or system actions, and scope the impact of a suspected compromise. Its distinguishing feature is that AI context is correlated with host-level activity, which traditional endpoint security does not see on its own.

It suits security teams in organizations with endpoints running AI agents or significant workforce AI use. Access is through the Falcon platform: the product page offers a demo and an AI agent security assessment, and the free trial covers other Falcon modules rather than Guardian. The AI gateway capability is listed as coming soon.
