What it does

Fieldguide is an audit and advisory platform for accounting and professional-services practitioners. Its Field Agents work from engagement materials and a firm’s methodology: Field Planner can use trial balances and prior-period information to assemble a scoped, evidence-backed plan; Field Auditor reviews submissions, flags gaps, and conducts testing; and Field Reviewer checks completed work against scope and evidence. Outputs include plans, tested workpapers, surfaced exceptions, and draft financial statements and disclosures.

Practitioners direct work and review or approve results at checkpoints. Field Orchestrator accepts natural-language directions and coordinates agents across engagement phases. Fieldguide’s MCP interface connects an MCP-compatible AI tool to Fieldguide for permitted engagement and request actions, but does not trigger Field Agents or Orchestrator workflows.
