What it does
Flint is an AI platform for K-12 schools and districts. Teachers build activities from uploaded content such as PDFs, documents, slides, sheets, images, audio and links, or import material from Google Drive and OneDrive. Students then work through AI-driven sessions with a tutor called Sparky that guides with questions and hints and gives instant feedback.
Teachers can monitor live session progress, review class-level strengths and areas for improvement, grade against their own rubrics, and create follow-up activities from the gaps analytics reveal. Schools use it for tutoring, test review, writing and editing, language practice and differentiated instruction. Teachers and students sign in with Google or Microsoft accounts, and the company states it is built to FERPA, COPPA and GDPR standards.
Flint suits schools and districts that want teacher-managed AI tutoring with classroom oversight. It is free for up to 80 users, and paid annual plans cover larger groups, with custom quotes through sales for over 500 users. Live chat support runs 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM US Eastern Time.
