What it does
Freestyle provides Linux virtual machines designed for AI agents working on extended or complex tasks. Developers can start machines, snapshot or clone their state, and pause them with memory preserved for later resumption. The environments support normal Linux tooling, containers and nested virtualization.
A CLI and API connect these machines to an agent platform, with network controls and identity-based access for multi-tenant use. Freestyle is useful when an agent needs a durable workspace or branches for experiments. Free usage has hard allowances; paid plans increase capacity and apply their monthly fee toward usage above the included allowances. Persistent machines and snapshots require a paid plan.
