Krea

What it does

Krea takes text prompts, reference images, moodboards, existing video or audio, and produces generated images, videos and 3D meshes, plus edited, restyled or upscaled versions of your own files. It bundles its own models (such as Krea 3 for image editing) with third-party models including Flux, Veo, Kling, Seedance and Nano Banana, so you choose a model per task.

People use it to generate stills or clips from a description, edit an image with plain-language instructions, upscale images and video, lipsync video to audio, or sketch on a realtime canvas and watch renders update. It also offers LoRA training on your own images to reproduce a face, product or style, Nodes for chaining models into reusable workflows, and a Krea Agent that runs tools from a brief. A REST API and MCP server expose the same models to developers.

It suits designers, marketers, studios and teams who want many generative models behind one account. A free account is available with daily units; heavier use depends on monthly compute units, and some models require paid tiers. Basic, Pro and Max units do not roll over monthly. Model availability and per-generation costs vary widely, so check unit costs before committing.

Example workflows

Product image edit and upscale

Input: a product photo and a short edit instruction. Steps: open the Image Editor, describe the change (for example a new background) using Krea 3, then send the result to the Upscaler. Output: an edited, higher-resolution image.

Brand-style generation with a trained model

Input: a handful of images of a product or visual style. Steps: train a LoRA model, then generate images and animate selected ones with a video model. Output: on-style stills and short clips.

Before you choose

• Output is metered in compute units, and per-generation cost varies by model, resolution and duration.
• Some models and features are gated by plan: Seedance 2.5 needs Pro or above, Krea 3 Ultra needs Max or above.
• Basic, Pro and Max units do not roll over; Business and Enterprise allow rollover.

Pro shown at $35/month list, with $21/month displayed on the pricing page at the 40% annual discount. Basic's $9 list price and its $5 / $5.25 discounted figures are inconsistent across the page, so confirm at checkout. One-time compute packs are valid for 90 days. Max is $105 list, $63 discounted. Business ($200 list) and Enterprise (custom) are also published; API pricing is separate.
