What it does

Lexica turns a written text prompt into AI-generated images. Users type a description on the Generate page, submit it, and receive images back, with past generations kept in History and liked images saved to a Likes page.

People use Lexica to explore visual ideas by refining prompts and browsing example images for inspiration. Each prompt submission uses 4 image generation credits. Plans include a set number of fast generations; on the Pro and Max plans, generation continues on a slower queue with a daily cap after fast limits are reached. Extra fast generations can be purchased separately and do not expire, but require an active plan.

Lexica is aimed at individuals and creators who want to generate images from text and are willing to pay for a subscription, as there is currently no free plan. Paid plans carry usage limits, and on the Starter plan generated images are public, while Max plan images are private.

What it can do

  • Generates images from written text prompts
  • Offers fast and slow generation queues depending on plan limits
  • Keeps history of past generations
  • Lets users save liked images
  • Supports custom aspect ratios and image uploads on paid plans
  • Allows purchase of optional extra fast generations

Example workflows

Generate an image from a prompt
Input: a written description, such as a portrait in a specific art style. Steps: open the Generate page, enter the prompt, and submit it, which uses 4 image generation credits. Output: generated images, which are saved to History.
Buy extra fast generations after reaching a limit
Input: an active plan that has used its included fast generations. Steps: open the account page, click 'Buy extra', and purchase generations at $0.05 each. Output: additional fast generations that do not expire and are used while the plan remains active.
