Muse
A personal AI agent that carries out tasks and goals for you, with approval checks before sensitive actions.
- Tool type
- Personal AI agent
- Made for
- Everyday consumers and small business owners
- Runs on
- iOS, Android, web (muse.ai), macOS, WhatsApp
- Agent executes in Muse Secure VM in the cloud; Mac app works with desktop files, apps and browser tabs.
What it does
Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. You message it in the Muse app or in WhatsApp with a task or a goal, and it works across multiple steps: browsing the web, filling out forms, pulling information from connected apps, creating documents or images, setting reminders, and making purchases. For goals, it builds an action plan and tracks progress.
Muse runs on Muse Secure VM, a persistent, isolated Linux computer with a full browser that you and the agent share, so you can step in at any point. It keeps working in the background after you close the app and comes back when something changes or it needs approval. It remembers details you mention and can offer suggestions unprompted. Credentials go into a store the agent cannot read, and shopping uses one-time card numbers via Link.
It suits non-technical people who want to hand off errands, planning, shopping and small-business admin. Muse is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, muse.ai and a Mac app. Use is free up to a limit, and paid subscriptions raise it. Actions such as sending email or buying need your approval unless you change your permission settings.
