What it does

NVIDIA AI Enterprise is a commercial software suite that bundles microservices, frameworks and libraries for AI development with GPU orchestration and infrastructure management. It takes in your models, enterprise data and GPU infrastructure, and produces deployed AI workloads such as agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and digital-twin or robotics simulations. It is sold as licensed, supported software rather than as a hosted chat application.

Teams use it to move from pilot to production on NVIDIA-Certified data center and edge systems. Components include NIM microservices, NeMo tools for training, evaluation and guardrails, Omniverse libraries, NVIDIA Run:ai for dynamic GPU orchestration, and Blueprints (reference workflows with Helm charts for deployment). Its distinguishing features are extended-lifetime production branches, enterprise support and a secure software supply chain, plus the same components from development to production.

It suits IT and AI platform teams at organizations that run their own NVIDIA GPUs or rent them through cloud marketplaces. Access requires a license, billed per GPU; a 90-day trial license is offered, though it excludes NVIDIA Run:ai. Not every component is available on every cloud. It needs NVIDIA GPUs or certified systems and is a heavy commitment for individuals or small projects.

What it can do

  • Deploy NIM microservices for model inference
  • Build and manage agentic AI with NeMo training, evaluation and guardrail tools
  • Orchestrate GPU workloads dynamically with NVIDIA Run:ai
  • Build RAG pipelines and reference agents from NVIDIA Blueprints
  • Develop industrial digital twins and robotics simulation with Omniverse libraries
  • Run on certified data center and edge systems with enterprise support

Works with

  • Amazon Web Services
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • Oracle Cloud (selected components)

Example workflows

Enterprise RAG on internal data
Inputs: multimodal enterprise documents and a GPU server. Steps: deploy the Enterprise RAG Blueprint using NIM microservices, ingest and extract data, connect an AI application. Output: a retrieval-based application answering from company data.
Share GPUs across AI teams
Inputs: a GPU cluster and multiple AI workloads. Steps: set up NVIDIA Run:ai, define policies, submit training and inference jobs. Output: workloads scheduled with dynamic compute allocation and central visibility.

Before you choose

  • Licensing is per GPU installed (per instance if no GPU), which scales cost with cluster size
  • Trial excludes NVIDIA Run:ai, and not all components are on every cloud
  • Requires NVIDIA GPU infrastructure; separate from the hardware and cloud instance costs
