What it does
Obot is an AI control plane for managing how an organization’s agents connect to models and tools. Its MCP and LLM gateways centralize credentials, expose approved resources and enforce access policies. Administrators can host MCP servers, distribute approved skills and inspect tool calls or model requests through a shared audit trail.
The platform supports existing clients such as coding agents and IDE assistants rather than requiring a single agent interface. Obot Sentry extends inventory and activity controls to enrolled devices, with device management currently in beta. Teams can evaluate locally with Docker, deploy on Kubernetes or request a hosted cloud trial. The MIT codebase is shared across editions; license configuration determines user and device limits, identity-provider options and support.
