What it does
Content Aviator is an AI content assistant from OpenText that answers questions and runs agents over documents, records and archived data held in OpenText content repositories. Users ask questions or hand off business-process tasks, and the product returns grounded answers or acts on content, such as summarizing, classifying, translating, redacting, generating documents, moving, renaming or changing permissions, within existing access controls.
It runs inside OpenText Content Management, Documentum, Information Archive and Core Archive for SAP, and can be reached from Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Salesforce Agentforce. Its focus is content-centric work such as contract review, claims and case resolution, with governance applied to each AI interaction.
It suits organizations already running OpenText content management or archiving products. Access depends on the deployment: Core Content Management customers have it included and enabled, Content Management and Documentum customers get it at no cost from release 26.2 when moving to OpenText Content Cloud, and others can start a free trial with sample documents. Deployment options include SaaS, private cloud and off-cloud.

Before you choose
- Works best within OpenText content repositories; it is not a standalone document tool for arbitrary files.
